Dear Mr. MQM Leaders, both in and outside the country with their British Passport,
My Salutations to you, which are to be followed with a lot of questions, which I hope that you would be able to find time to answer among all the bloody
target killing politics that you have to deal with.
I hope that you would not take any hard feelings towards these and would treat them as nothing more, but the thinking of an idle mind who was stuck at home for 4 days because of the things in the city caused by your
rift with ANP noble plans to rid the city of the terrorist that live in a certain hill in the city! Therefore my first question to you follows the very reasonable question regarding your cause.
- Why have you taken upon yourself to rid the city of these terrorist that live in a certain city?
- Why are you so whiny demanding to the extent of being stubborn, like a 16 year old dumb chick?
- What makes you so special that you think that only, as per your words,
you deserve the urban centers of Sindh deserve the Local Government Ordinance? Continue reading
“Is there a foreign hand involved in these attacks?”
“Can this possibly be an American attack?”
“Is Israel or RAW involved in it?”
“Why did they rush the Chinese out of the base?”
“Is this related to Baluchistan or the fact that the Gwader Port was only handed yesterday to the Chinese?”

Any major event in Pakistan goes hand in hand with the conspiracies that surround it. The attacks today at the P.A.F base is not indifferent to this rule! Continue reading
It’s been a lot over 12 days now since the death of the most wanted man in the world! I know that the world and blogosphere simply went nuts after his death, but I wanted to wait for a while before I can say anything on it. The reason for this was simply that I wanted the dust of conspiracies to settle down!
However, this settling of the dust should in no way be confused with the truth being out or something. This is simply due to the realization, that whether it was the real Osama or not, it only means one thing for Pakistan, which is
WE ARE SCREWED!
BIG TIME! Continue reading
A friend of mine retold an interesting set of events that happened to him just the other day. I have decided – and let him know – that I would be retelling this story. Therefore people, here is what happened to him the other day.
Yesterday that is on 7th April 2011, my friend was taking pictures of a park near his house, which is in the area of Garden. His bike was parked outside, and this photography session was in line with his thesis topic.
As per the current trend, the park has been hijacked by a certain political party – let’s just call them the Sathi group – and within seconds, they were behind my friend, and had pinned a gun to this back, and their main concern was simply, “to which party did he belong to”.
From there he was taken to the Union Council of that area that apparently falls under 167 or something – and taken in a room, which was lined with weapons. My friend was able to get out of this mess by using his cunningness, and the contacts and help of some friends. Still they refused to return his memory card, even after they broke it, reason being that they wanted to make sure that he didn’t take any wrong pictures. Continue reading
Things are shaping out to be exactly like they had been predicted. All the sane voices in the country now are being threatened to be silenced forever, or to take a different stance!
News is coming in that the Minority Minister has been attacked. His opinions have been a very small silver lining that has been coming out of the Margalla Hills where the government has decided to speak as little as possible so as not to ignite the religious bloc, that – as it is becoming more and more apparent since the death of Salman Taseer – comprises of more than half of this countries population!
This is not the end of it! Sherry Rahman who presented the bill for the repealing of the bill have been scared into a corner, while the article today byAbbas Ather shows the courage of a man despite all that is surrounding him! It is now in these bits of courage and protest that all of us can find encouragement for our own scared souls!
A friend of mine recently exclaimed to me that how they talk all the time that Pakistan is going to the dogs! He lives in London, so he can give this statement without ever worrying of what impact it can have for all of us sitting out here, living within this country!
I guess we need to make ourselves contend with whatever we can get!
Since the moment I turned on my tv, I have been hearing comments and statements from my mother – and after coming home from my father – about how evil (I can’t find any other word) the attacks targeted at the Ahmadi’s were. And I can’t help but agree with them and feel sad about where we are heading towards as a nation. This incident is just one more nail in the coffin that will be of Pakistan.
Almost as soon as the incident happen, analyst and reporters flooded the tv screens with their own analysis about who could be behind it. Beside the fact that the responsibility had already been taken by a random fundamental wing called the Punjab Taliban (PTI), but still the old hearsay could still be heard on the airways about how there is the involvement of a foreign head in it and how they are trying to destabilize the country.. I just don’t understand.. why don’t they finally get it that this country doesn’t need a foreign hand to destabilize it.. It is doing a pretty good job on its own.
As I write this post, it is 11 pm.. it has been almost 8 hours or so since the attack on this minority group took place, and I cant stop but feeling helpless, because I feel that despite all our awareness and big talks, we don’t do anything.. how many of us can i hope to see tomorrow on the streets to protest against what has happened? I hope the answer is better than I am thinking!I remembered a joke that someone had made about Ahmadi’s that they were the most religious lot she had seen, always fasting and praying and this makes them even more boring… she used to say “If this is their condition when they are not considered Muslims, consider what they would have been like if they weren’t constitutionally banned?”

It is always the same old story.. and things always take the same turn always..
no know knows why this pattern has established… no one wants to think about how we can change it… and nobody is intrigued by it anymore.
After the bomb blast on the Moharram procession, the usual game began, with everyone asking that who is to be blamed. The independent media ofcourse (over)played it’s part. Continue reading
